Stavane
Stavane / Compute

Compute that fits.
Clear pricing.

Stavane Compute is a cloud server (VPS) on AMD EPYC hardware in Amsterdam and New York. Every plan is billed hourly, never more than the monthly price, and includes root access.

View plans

Standard

Shared CPU

For websites, development and variable workloads.

More about Standard

CPU resources are shared with other Compute instances. A practical starting point when your application does not need sustained CPU capacity. Runs on AMD EPYC 7713 processors.

View plans

Dedicated CPU

Reserved CPU

For busy APIs, builds and continuous processing.

More about Dedicated CPU

CPU capacity is reserved for your Compute instance, giving sustained workloads more predictable CPU availability. Runs on AMD EPYC 9634 processors.

View plans

High Memory

More memory

For caches and large datasets.

More about High Memory

These plans provide more RAM for workloads that keep a lot of data in memory. More memory does not automatically include reserved CPU capacity. Check CPU and RAM in the plan below. Runs on AMD EPYC 7713 processors.

Currency

Billed hourly, never more than the monthly price. A started hour counts, and an instance is billed until you delete it, also while it is powered off. Traffic is unlimited under fair use. Prices exclude VAT; you see the exact amount including VAT before you pay.

A new account can order Standard S-2 to S-16 from the start. Standard S-32 to S-64 and Dedicated CPU D-4 to D-64 open after $25.00 in top-ups, High Memory H-64 to H-192 after $100.00. A server starts when your credit covers its first 24 hours. Levels and limits.

A few good
questions.

Talk to our team
Which Compute plan should I choose?

Start with Standard for websites, development and everyday applications. Dedicated CPU is for sustained CPU workloads. High Memory gives caches and large datasets more RAM. Compare the plans before you deploy: you can later move an instance to another plan in its family with at least as much disk, but not to another family or to a smaller disk.

Is traffic included?

Yes. Traffic is unlimited under fair use: use that keeps the shared network at full load in a way that harms other customers is not allowed by our acceptable use policy.

How does hourly billing work?

Compute is billed by the hour from your credit balance, and a started hour counts. The hourly rate is the monthly price divided by 720. On one plan, a server never costs more than that plan’s monthly price in a calendar month. After a change of plan, each plan counts up to its own share of the month. An instance that is powered off still reserves its resources and is billed until you delete it. You top up with a card, or with iDEAL in euro. VAT is charged on the top-up.

Do you manage my application for me?

You manage your Compute instance yourself. Stavane runs the underlying platform; you manage your operating system, applications, updates and data. The console helps you with setup and gives you a clear route to support.

Is a Compute instance the same as a VPS or cloud server?

Yes. A Stavane Compute instance is a virtual server with root access and its own IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Other providers call this a VPS, a cloud server or a virtual machine.
